Lead CPQ Salesforce Specialist
Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

✦   Own the end-to-end CPQ lifecycle including product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and renewals.

✦   Design, build, and optimize scalable CPQ solutions within Salesforce.

✦   Lead CPQ architecture decisions and ensure alignment with GTM, Finance, and Product strategies.

✦   Manage and enhance product catalog, pricing structures, discounting models, and bundling strategies.

✦   Drive automation across quote generation, approvals, and contract workflows.

✦   Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Product teams.

✦   Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance including SOX considerations.

✦   Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

✦   Troubleshoot complex CPQ issues and optimize performance.

✦   Support strategic initiatives including CPQ revamps, pricing changes, and GTM transformation efforts.

Job Requirements:

✦   7+ years of Salesforce experience with deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ.

✦   Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification required.

✦   Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder) strongly preferred.

✦   Proven experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models.

✦   Strong understanding of product and pricing strategy.

✦   Experience with Finance and revenue systems such as NetSuite is a plus.

✦   Familiarity with Advanced Approvals and complex approval workflows.

✦   Experience with CPQ implementations, redesigns, or large-scale optimizations.

✦   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently.

✦   Strong cross-functional communication skills.

✦   Strategic thinker with attention to detail.

✦   Ability to influence without authority and work in fast-paced environments.

✦   Technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration, flows, Apex, validation rules, security model, and integrations.

Additional Details:

✦   Base salary range $129,000 – $193,500 per year.

✦   May be eligible for incentive compensation and equity.

✦   Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).

✦   Remote full-time role.

✦   Must pass structured interview process including in-person or live video final round.
