Job Requirements:
✦ Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
✦ At least 3+ years of experience in manual testing and handling a project end to end along with defect tracking.
✦ Understanding and demonstrated experience working with web tools.
✦ Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
✦ Strong analytic skills; ability to understand complex systems and design communication around integration and interface points.
✦ Able to write test cases, scripts, Jira stories for a business need, get it approved from the business, follow through with developers, get the timelines and act as a liaison between the business and developer.
✦ Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance with a distinguished track record in testing complex software systems.
✦ Competent in all types of testing (Functional, Regression, Integration).
✦ Capability to work with a multi-functional team of business owners, developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals.
✦ Knowledge of quality management tools such as Jira.
✦ Understanding of the QA process/SDLC in waterfall, continuous delivery, and Agile environments is required.
✦ Strong organizational skills: the ability to complete multiple tasks under time constraints and competing priorities.
✦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✦ Work independently (full SDLC) with minimal supervision in a team environment.
