Job Responsibilities:
✦ Configure and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder and MobileConnect (SMS).
✦ Assist with SMS enablement, including short code acquisition, keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out management and compliance alignment.
✦ Develop and manage automated journeys, triggered sends and scheduled communications across email and SMS channels.
✦ Build and maintain data extensions, SQL queries and audience segmentation strategies.
✦ Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMP script.
✦ Support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and State of Maryland systems.
✦ Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns, SMS delivery, data processes and automation workflows.
✦ Ensure adherence to State of Maryland governance, security, privacy and approval processes.
✦ Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
✦ Follow all security, change control and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes and methodologies.
Job Requirements:
✦ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
✦ Hands-on experience with AMP script and SQL within Marketing Cloud.
✦ Experience implementing or supporting SMS messaging, including consent management.
✦ Familiarity with regulated or public-sector environments, including PII, compliance and security requirements.
✦ Experience with MobileConnect, SMS compliance and short code provisioning processes.
✦ Ability to work effectively in a staff augmentation role under state direction.
✦ Experience supporting government agencies or healthcare organizations.
✦ Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG / Section 508.
✦ Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce.
✦ Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience.
✦ Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification.
✦ Strong experience with MobileConnect, SMS compliance and short code provisioning.
✦ Experience supporting government agencies or healthcare organizations.
✦ Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG / Section 508).
✦ Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM.
